Military Certificates

As a military man, this customer wished to proudly display his certificates, in a clean-cut manner, in his new office. He wanted them preserved so that he could enjoy them for a lifetime and, in the future, pass them down as heirlooms. In order to accommodate his request for something simple and clean-cut, we chose a solid Amish-made oak frame with a black stain and a gloss finish. You may notice that they are not matted. In order to maintain a conservation method of framing, we need prevent the certificate from touching the glass. To accomplish this, we used glass spacers. These are quarter inch thick, clear glass lengths that we cut to size. They are virtually invisible but create enough depth to keep the paper from sticking to the glass.
